You should divide the dust concentration (mg / m3) OEL (Occupational Exposure Limit). The figure is the result of the division should be lower than the nominal mask protection factor.
Particle concentration levels: 20mg / m3
OEL (Occupational Exposure Limit): 2mg / m3
Other: there is no risk of oxygen deficiency, normal.
Lowest possible protection factor: 20/2 = 10
For protection factor 10 is our Segre P2, P2 V Segre and Segre P2 CV suitable because they have protection factor 12th

D = dolomite. It is a voluntary test in the context of standard EN 149: 2001 called tilltäppningstest or Dolomite. The masks are tested in an atmosphere having a high concentration of dolomite. Afterwards, measure the mask’s breathing resistance and filtration. The main thing with this test is that it ensures that the mask can be used for a long time, with the ability to provide protection, and with proper breathing resistance and filtration.
All Segre masks, except those with carbon filter, complies with EN 149: 2001 and have been tested and approved for belonging to the categories FFP1D, FFP2D and FFP3D. This means that you can safely use the mask for more than 8 hours.
According to standard EN 149: 2001 should be a mask used for a maximum of 8 hours, or during a work shift if it is less than 8 hours. Segre produces masks which are labeled with “D”, FFP1D, FFP2D and FFP3D, which provides protection for more than 8 hours. Standard EN 149: 2001 does not determine exactly how many hours a mask to protect, but we can tell you that we are satisfied with our maskers filtration and breathing resistance after 8 hours of use.
The masks, which are not labeled with D, the masks with charcoal filters should not be used for more than 8 hours. The masks that are labeled with a “D” can be used for at least 8 hours.
The blue color of the valve and belts holder means that the mask belongs to category FFP1 and the protection factor of 4.
The red color of the valve and belts holder means that the mask belongs to category FFP2 and protection factor 12.
The yellow color of the valve and belts holder means that the mask belongs to category FFP3 and protection factor 50.
